Polish Bed and Breakfast Association was registered in October 2004. Hence Poland joined the family of countries where such associations operate in order to actively develop individual tourism based on accommodation which cannot be included in the “hotel” definition, such as: pensions, lodgings, guest rooms and agrotourism lodgings. The aim of the Association, apart from promoting B&B in Poland, is to make tourists aware of the advantages of B&B services. By introducing standards of services and categories of different places based on the best English and Irish standards, the Association shall contribute to enhancing the reliability of Polish accommodation in the eyes of domestic and foreign customers and in this way to making Poland more attractive for tourists. Prior to reservation in a place/accommodation at www.bed-and-breakfast-poland.com website it is necessary to read the “Rules and Regulations of the Website” and “General Terms of Reservation”. After searching website information according to your selected criteria you should select from the list of places the specific item and read its detailed description. If the accommodation provides the option of reservation on request, it features an active button “Reservation”. After pressing the button a reservation form is displayed. Fill the form in and after checking your data press “Send Inquiry” button. Information on the number of inquiry is displayed as well as the term of sending a response to your e-mail address. Depending on the availability of accommodation at specified dates and according to your selected conditions we shall send you a response if the reservation has been accepted. If yes, the same e-mail contains information on the prices and terms of stay as well as the terms of payment, including the account number. The initial reservation is then complete. The payment of the required sum is to be made within the stipulated term and to the account number given in the e-mail and the transfer confirmation is to be faxed to the number given on the website. Payments are made according to “Rules and Regulations of the Website” and “General Terms of Reservation”. After the receipt of payment we shall send you an e-mail confirming the reservation. Reservation is then confirmed. If no payment is made or the transfer is not confirmed, the initial reservation is cancelled. If it is necessary to cancel reservation, you can do it on the level of a logged-in user. Every reservation made features a “Cancel Reservation” button, which displays a form for cancelling reservation. Every modification of reservation implies the cancellation of the previous reservation. Therefore in order to change the terms of reservation you should first cancel the reservation and fill in the reservation form again. If the accommodation owner cannot provide the conditions required by a tourist, he may offer you alternative accommodation. If such a proposal is accepted, the tourist should inform us by e-mail. If the accommodation owner does not have any available offers or presents an alternative, we shall send you a notification that the reservation could not have been completed due to e.g. shortage of rooms.
