| We are honoured to invite you to our Settlement hidden in the forests of the Masuria region. You will be able to explore the wild and see the untouched nature. If you like to spend your free time away from the hustle and bustle of the city life and in full symbiosis with the nature, KAMIENNY LAS will make your dreams come true. It is situated in the North-East of Poland, in the Mazury Lake District, near the Piłackie Wzgórza nature reserve located at the outskirts of the Borecka Forest, about 18 to the South-East from Wegorzewo, in a very picturesque nook of the Mazury fairyland. It lies among mysterious, enchanting lakes, such as Czarna Kuta, Krzywa Kuta, Gleboka Kuta, Stregil, or Goldapiwo – the cleanest of all Mazurian lakes.
The surrounding forests are a real ElDorado for all mushroom picking, hunting and fishing lovers. It is an ideal place for enjoying long walks or biking tours during which one is very likely to come across wild animals: wild boars, elks, deers, roe deers, foxes and hares. We offer excellent accommodation and organise guided tours of the Mazury region. We guarantee a number of attractions. If you wish to rest in the bosom of nature – YOU ARE MORE THAN WELCOME!

| How to get here |
|
| If you are driving from the direction of Gizycko, you should head for a village called Pozezdrze. Then you need to turn in the direction of KUTY. When you enter Kuty simply head on and do not drive in the direction of Wegorzewo or Kruklanki. You will reach a hill where some dirt roads split into branches. Do not follow any of them and continue straight on.
Move along a forest track and you will reach other forking roads, next to an information board of the Rezerwat Wzgórza Pilackie. Turn right.
Then you have to go straight on and you will arrive at our doorstep.
The access road is marked with a board saying “Kamienny Las”.

| The Museum of Folk Culture in Węgorzewo offers you the opportunity to see local handicraft products. You can also do it yourself: for example you may try to make pots on a potter’s wheel.
